PMs: Classifications
The PMs tab displays the assets, schedules and work orders associated with this classification through a preventive maintenance schedule. In addition, this tab can be used to designate a PM cycle start date for schedules associated with this classification. This functionality is common to many supporting modules in Maintenance Connection.
In addition, the PMs tab in the Classification module has an additional feature that lets you designate PM Schedules that should be automatically added to any new assets created using this classification. This is a powerful feature to ensure that new assets are automatically scheduled for important maintenance. Upon creation of the new asset, the correct PM Schedule is attached, with a next scheduled date corresponding to the parameters defined for the schedule. The system uses the current date as the Last Generated / Completed Date. If you want to modify the date, this can be done from the Assets: PMs/Tasks tab or the PMs: Assets tab.
The PM List designating the schedules to be auto-added to newly created assets of this classification displays the PM Schedule ID, Name, and Frequency.
